P003 → Emaille-Zigarette / enamel cigarettes
You probably know Fabian for making these awesome little Emaille-Zigaretten! Because he was clever enough to put the link to this website on the prouct label. These beauties were invisioned by Fabian out of envy. His potter colleages at art school were already selling their stuff and for a museum or gallery to buy his media installations he was too ungeduldig. Therefore he inveted the Emaille-Zigarette. Beautiful, handcrafted enamel goodness!
Peoples first reaction is usually laughing - you know, like when you show your friend a funny hat at the second hand market. And that is good and intended! Because we all know that cigarettes and smoking is basically self harm. In making unsmokable cigarettes we are able to reflect upon unhealthy habits and objectify them. The silly stuff has the power to penetrate delusion in a good way. So let them work their magic while looking nice!
